The Chem Zen is a perfect mix between old and new design that can be ridden in a variety of waves. Developed with team rider Mike Gleason, this board is built for speed and control in the pocket of hollow waves. The board's wide point is moved forward and its has a full foil through the midpoint to the nose. This helps the board paddle easy as well as enhances its planing ability in flat sections and in the pocket. It also has a narrow round pin tail that increases its maneuverability and keeps the board locked in the pocket when the waves are hollow. Works well as a thruster or quad so the 5 fin set up is the best choice. Recently Mike has been really happy with the Chem Zen as a quad and with a 6 channel bottom. -
Tyler Hatzikianにとってサーフボードをシェイプすることとクラシックカーを復刻させることは彼の人生そのものである。 彼は生涯この一見共通点のなさそうな二つのものを関連付けていくという作業をやめることをしなかった。 1950年代のロングボードカルチャーを引き継ぎ現代によみがえらせた ”Progressive Traditionals" （先進的な伝統）は世界で最も精巧に作られたロングボードだといって過言はないであろう。 777 Nose Riderは彼の代表作でありスムーズなトリミングと反応のいいターンを味わうことができるボードだ。 そんなボードをCarverに移植したモデルがTyler 777であり、ミッドレングスの板からは彼のサーフボードと同じトリムとターンを楽しめることだろう。 デッキはシュガーコートグリップと若干のポイントノーズを採用してある。 Tylerはクラシックロングボードを基に最新のトレンドを取り入れたProgressive Traditionalsをモットーに板を製作していて、ノーズライドはもちろんのことその機動性も損なわない板を製作している。 Carver 777 Nose Riderはこの特徴をそのまま生かした仕上がりになっている。 -
